3 Generations of Duck Dynasty Robertsons Share Their Faith-driven Stories

The long-awaited and much-hyped release of the faith journey of several members of the Robertson family from the hit A&E television series Duck Dynasty was released on yesterday on the I am Second website. In it, three generations of Robertsons share their prodigal stories and unabashedly proclaim the Good News of Jesus.

While much of this week’s media attention has focused on the details prior to the stars submitting their lives to the Lordship of Christ – such as alcohol abuse, drug use, bar room brawls, infidelity, cynicism and thoughts of suicide – a powerful testament to the transforming work of God’s love, grace, mercy and compassion is evident in the 26-minute film.

For those unfamiliar with “I am Second,” the website features many well-known followers of Jesus sharing their testimonies and openly discussing their challenges with real-world issues like abortion, abuse, anger, wealth, addiction, cancer, divorce, disabilities, death and more.

Part of Duck Dynasty’s appeal for the nearly 12 million Americans who tune in to the hit series each week is the good-humored, down-to-earth, Louisiana Redneck relate-ability of the Robertson clan whose core values are faith, family, food and facial hair.

Check out the film here and share with your family and friends:

  • My wife and I share the moral values the Robertson’s espouse as a family. We both despise the manner by which Phil Robertson was ‘sand-bagged’ by GQ Magazine. We despise even more the actions of the management of A&E Network in allowing the evisceration of Phil Robertson for stating his heart-felt beliefs…ESPECIALLY AFTER BEING ASKED TO DESCRIBE HIS BELIEFS! If the Robertson’s decide to leave the A&E Network I will never watch another program on A&E, and will launch a drive to have the network removed from DirecTV.
