Is God calling you to help underprivileged families in your local community?

Studies show that high-speed internet access is a critical factor for K-12 students—setting the stage for future success in life. No longer a luxury, high-speed internet access is a necessity—especially as teachers incorporate digital tools in the classroom to enhance learning, assign online homework, use email to communicate with parents and post grades online.

Bottom line:  K-12 students who lack internet access are more likely to fall behind—and into patterns of poverty, crime and violence.

Fortunately, there’s hope for students in danger of slipping through the cracks. The Connect2Compete (C2C) program is a national organization that brings together government, non-profit and private-sector partners—including Cox Communications—who are dedicated to improving lives through the power of the internet.

And this is where YOU can help!

Cox Communications is inviting faith-driven Christians like you to help get the word out to your local community about the Connect2Compete program, which offers low-cost, high-speed internet access to qualifying families in your church and neighborhood.

So, do your part today by watching the video below and sharing the resources available here with those in your community or church who may benefit from the C2C program. Surely, you know someone who would benefit from this program. Let's bring students online and make sure that every child has what it takes to build a brighter future through high-speed internet access.

Download and share these resources with those in your community or church who may benefit from the Connect2Compete program. Great ways to get the word out include face-to-face conversations with neighbors and friends, announcements in weekly church bulletins, placement of flyers on church, business and neighborhood bulletin boards, and sharing with community groups and mission committees that seek to help underserved communities.
