Goldhen Eggs distributed by ALDI, Inc.

I recently purchased Goldhen Farm Fresh Eggs, Grade A Large, from ALDI in Elizabethtown, KY.  Inside the 12 count styrofoam container was a Bible Verse quoted from Psalms 118:24; "This is the Day which the Lord has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it."

Product was produced and packed by (Rose Acre Farms [name not indicated]) P.O. Box 1250, Seymour, IN 47274.

  • Yes, I want to acknowledge how refreshing to see a Bible verse in each carton. Thankyou, thankyou, for acknowledging our Lord in your packaging- it brings a smile to my face to know God’s light shines among his flock. May God continue to bless you in all that you do
  • What a nice surprise to find a bible verse imprinted inside my egg carton.
Thank you…Chris and Ruth (Lancaster Ohio)
  • It’s nice to know they love the Lord Just like my family and I do
  • All well and good to tout Christianity, but the hens producing their eggs are kept in battery cages, have their beaks cut off, and are abused in every sense of the word. So go ahead and promote your beliefs while keeping tens of thousands of animals in deplorable conditions to make a buck.
  • It was great to see this! For sure will purchase eggs from them again next !
  • Made my day when I opened my egg carton. First time shopping at aldi but will return after seeing this.
Rejoice & be glad I shall!
  • AMEN!!! It was my first time encountering this verse in my eggs!!!! Fabulous!!! It really made my day! Thank you Lord……

  • People are really complaining about this? Really? It is a Christian company. If they want to put scripture on their product, it is their right. They aren’t the first company to do something like this. If you don’t like it, don’t buy it. Or better yet, just respect someone else’s beliefs and go on with your day. And for the record, I am a Christian and no I would not be offended by a product containing verses from the Qua ran, Nor would any other Christian I know. In fact I would welcome it. It certainly would not keep me from purchasing a quality product. The media loves to feed us news involving radical Christians (as well as radical muslims or radical ANYTHING) because it gets them ratings. Believe it or not, they do not represent the majority of us. Shocking, I know.
  • People seem to make a lot of assumptions with so little information. I never saw a rainbow on the inside of my eggs at one particular grocery chain. You are comparing apples and oranges. Nice grocery pun. Moreover, a rainbow probably appears in the paas egg coloring package. The mere colors alone shouldn’t be offensive. NOW, if the colors include a message to promote homosexuality, then there might be a problem. Would you be offended if the egg container had verses from the Koran? That is more relevant. I doubt Aldi will cancel a contract. But perhaps, note my displeasure and if enough people complain, they could insist they remove the quotes. I find this companies tactic a little sly and suspicious. What I would give to have a friendly debate with you. LOL
  • Vinny, I see you’re just one more “tolerant” liberal who found yet another thing to be offended by. What if I were to tell you I find your rainbow flag offensive? Would you take it down?
    Somehow, I doubt you would.

Go on and send your complaint to Aldi. I’m sure they’ll cancel their contract with their egg supplier just to appease you. lol
  • This is not cool and not ok. Keep one’s myths to themselves. I don’t need to see more stupidity. I see it every time I pass a church. I will be contact Aldi.
  • Debbie, I’m not offended by a Bible verse, I simply asked a question. If you somehow think we live in a tolerant society that wouldn’t object vehemently to a verse from the Qur’an instead of a Bible verse, you are sadly misinformed.
  • This morning I was making hard boiled eggs and I noticed the verse printed inside the cardboard carton. I was very happy to see that but naturally, I couldn’t help but wonder how long it would be before someone found it “offensive” and blasted the Goldhen company for “promoting” Christianity. lol. Yes, I’m sure that if a verse from the Quran was printed no one would say a word. But that’s our tolerant society for you.

Thank you Goldhen Farms for speaking up for our Lord and Savior.
  • Would you feel the same way if a verse from the Qur’an were to grace the inside of the egg carton? I doubt it.
  • I’m delighted that Goldhen produces great eggs and promotes the word of God. He loves to provide for us mere sinners!
When I was a boy in a family of Mom and Dad and 8 kids, we raised chickens and enjoyed their eggs and meat, and learned to respect their ways!
  • you make my day every time i open a dozen eggs thank you for putting God in our day he is our strength and we need to be reminded of his love and blessings
  • this bible verse from psalms was my late aunt’s favorite and i just noticed it a few days ago………..thanks so much for using it
  • God did create the chicken so HE can have HIS word stamp on them :-)
