Chick-fil-A is at it again.  Even a major snow storm can’t hold back the generosity of Chick-fil-A and its employees.  For stranded motorist on Highway 280 in Birmingham, AL, door-to-door delivery of chicken sandwiches from manager Mark Meadows and his staff filled their bellies and warmed their hearts.

And if walking through snow and ice weren’t enough, Meadows distributed the sandwiches for free.  While some companies would inflate their prices during a crisis, not Chick-fil-A.  Even with a captive audience, no money was exchanged during the

storm.  Period.

But the story continues.  Not only did the staff deliver hot sandwiches for free, they also opened the dining room so motorist could stay warm during the night.  And the next morning?  You guessed it—hot breakfast served for free.

Meadows fully embodies the Bible-based “second mile” corporate philosophy established by owner, Dan Cathy.   Based on Matthew 5:41, going beyond what’s expected helps us form relationships with others and ultimately glorifies God in the process.  And you can’t put a price tag on that!
